Job Opportunity: Technical Visionary

We seek an accomplished Solutions Architect to develop and communicate system architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish standards for design, development, quality, and testing.
  • Design systems that meet business needs.
  • Elicit needs and analyze requirements.
  • Translate business goals into architectures.
  • Map business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features.
  • Analyze available systems.
  • Identify options for potential solutions.
  • Maintain and track architecture across the systems lifecycle.
  • Estimate and size software development work.
  • Contribute to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management.
  • Prepare system documentation and deliver presentations.
  • Lead development teams and oversee development processes.
  • Select and evaluate technologies.
  • Collect and interpret system metrics.
  • Optimize systems from performance, security, and quality perspectives.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level knowledge of systems architecting.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of databases, application servers, communication middleware, web servers, GIS services, directory services, systems security on Microsoft platforms, business intelligence concepts, and systems integration.
  • At least 2 certifications among Master-level certificate in a relevant software development technology domain or in architecting software solutions.
