Procurement Specialist Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled procurement specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a key role in sourcing activities across various industries.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, the ability to manage contracts and vendors, and strong organizational skills.
  • A fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken, is essential for this position.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of procurement processes and policies. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to achieving procurement savings targets.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for providing sourcing activities in IT & Telco category for Italy and other EU countries. You will also negotiate offers, contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and service providers to ensure optimal value for the company.

Your Responsibilities
  • Review and validate Purchase Requests in accordance with internal procurement policies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and internal advisor on procurement processes and policies, providing guidance to other parties when necessary.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and contribute to achieving procurement savings targets.
  • Maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure quality and improvement.
  • Analyze market trends, vendors, and emerging technologies to support informed sourcing decisions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations related to procurement activities.
