Job Description

At Tangent, we are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud systems using AWS and Azure services.
  • Develop and maintain containerized applications and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.
  • Work on distributed systems and microservice architecture, ensuring seamless integration and communication between services.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor and alert on system performance, security, and other critical metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve existing systems and develop new ones.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure services, including containerization and orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservice architecture, and cloud security.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools, version control, and deployment processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, communicating technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical issues.
