Job Position

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of data pipelines, ensuring seamless data management and visualization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake) and workflow orchestration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines using cloud technologies and workflow orchestration tools.
  • Build complex solutions using Python, Airflow, dbt, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering solutions into the overall product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring it is scalable, efficient, and meets required standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve data engineering capabilities.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with programming languages focused on data pipelines (e.g., Python or R).
  • 4+ years of experience working with SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience in data pipelines maintenance.
  • 3+ years of experience with different types of storage (filesystem, relation, MPP, NoSQL) and working with various kinds of data (structured, unstructured, metrics, logs, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience in working in data architecture concepts (data modeling, metadata management, workflow management, ETL/ELT, real-time streaming, data quality, distributed systems).
  • 1+ years of experience in Java and/or Scala.
  • Excellent knowledge of Git, Gitflow, and DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Bamboo, Jenkins, Terraform).
  • Very good knowledge of relational databases (optional).
  • Pharma data formats is a big plus (SDTM).
  • Required English level: minimum upper-intermediate (B2).
