Reliability Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP-focused system reliability engineer to lead the planning and execution of cross-application reliability, system performance management, proactive SAP system health monitoring, and performance tuning across our enterprise systems.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of our ERP platform, including capacity planning, system performance tuning, bottleneck analysis, and root cause identification. You will collaborate closely with SAP developers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless and highly reliable ERP platform and business operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed capacity planning to ensure systems scale with evolving business needs.
  • Perform system performance tuning and bottleneck analysis across application layers, databases, and infrastructure components.
  • Provide expert-level support for critical incidents affecting core SAP systems.
  • Monitor and enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of SAP systems from a cross-application perspective.
  • Drive problem management through root cause identification and preventive action, minimizing system downtime.
Requirements:
  • Deep technical expertise across the SAP ecosystem, including system architecture, ABAP/SQL tuning, databases, OS/infrastructure, and SAP monitoring tools.
  • Proven track record in performance optimization, including bottleneck identification, root cause analysis, tuning techniques, load testing, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of cross-application dependencies and how performance in one SAP module affects others.
  • Experience in capacity management, system sizing, and preventive monitoring strategies.
