Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer with a strong focus on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps to join our globally distributed product engineering team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and ensuring the reliability of modern cloud-based systems. Your expertise in building scalable architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies will play a crucial role in driving business success.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across regions to collaborate on architectural discussions and influence engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement DevOps and SRE strategies to improve the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Design scalable architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Work with big data platforms and streaming services like Apache Kafka.
  • Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in peer reviews.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Automate infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code) for SaaS environments.
  • Ensure observability using tools like AppDynamics, Cloudflare, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Support on-call rotations with quick issue resolution and SLA compliance.
  • Act as a Staff-level engineer: technically autonomous, proactive, and a mentor to others.
