You'll be responsible for building and extending the Referrals Platform that supports multiple complementary products. As a full-stack developer, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, marketing specialists, and ML engineers to empower high-impact referrals campaigns.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to address technical debt, optimize platform performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Scalable Backend Services: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, web, and mobile applications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to empower high-impact referrals campaigns.
  • Technical Debt Refactoring: Address technical debt by refactoring and optimizing legacy code to improve maintainability, performance, and scalability.
  • Platform Performance Optimization: Optimize platform performance for high availability and low-latency, ensuring reliability to support global customer bases.
  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, deploying updates and bug fixes to ensure seamless functionality and continuous improvement.
  • On-Call Support: Support the referral team through a rotating on-call schedule.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional Experience: 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Web Architecture Expertise: Proven ability to build and optimize large-scale web architectures.
  • Frontend and Backend Skills: Strong understanding of server-side rendering (SSR), hydration, and web frameworks like React or Next.js.
  • Backend Programming Languages: Good knowledge of backend programming languages such as Java or Golang.
  • RDBMS Knowledge: Proficiency in an RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, bonus points for experience managing big data.
  • Software Development Practices: Proven experience and understanding of software development practices, system design, software design patterns, and algorithms.
