Job Title: Software Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support group, you will provide high-level technical support to customers, ensuring their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Banking or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Experience in application support and incident management is essential.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, VBA, Bash, .NET, and Perl is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate workflows creation and Unix user skills are also valuable assets.
  • Experience in finance and/or banking sector is an added advantage.
  • Strong customer-orientation and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Provide high-level technical support to customers through diagnoses and routing of incoming incidents.
  • Setup, integrate, and parameterize new application releases.
  • Support and maintain business processes and/or technical components in FIS applications.
  • Invent and implement new ideas to automate existing processes.
  • Analyze, check, and solve assigned daily issues or route them to the proper department.
  • Cooperate with first and second-level support teams in the event of workarounds or troubleshooting in the customer environment within Incident Management.
  • Apply new solutions to speed up workflow and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Manage IT service according to ITIL service and process standards.

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in application support and incident management.
  • Familiarity with programming languages.
