About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team at Beekeeper AG. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth plans by providing expert accounting services and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including preparation and review of various accounting journal entries in SAP.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate and resolve differences.
  • Control revenue and expenses by performing analytical review procedures and presenting conclusions and recommendations.
  • Analyze technical accounting issues and provide guidance as required.
  • Monitor and test controls to ensure they are carried out in accordance with our internal control system.
  • Prepare Local GAAP annual reporting packs for group subsidiaries.
  • Liaise with local accounting providers on financial reporting, transfer pricing, and direct and indirect tax filings.
  • Support the financial audit of the Group, including consolidation entries, preparing schedules, reports, and responding to auditor requests.
  • Provide timely and accurate ad hoc reporting to internal stakeholders as required.
  • Support the Head of Accounting with the implementation of new systems, automation, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify and implement improvements to our internal control system.
  • Perform analysis to support data-driven decisions on new initiatives.
  • Mentor other team members.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • ACCA or CA certification.
  • Experience in SaaS, audit, and SAP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
