At Commerzbank, we are seeking an experienced Mainframe Application Manager to join our international team.

About the Role

This is a key position within our risk quality team responsible for maintaining and operating applications based on Host-Technology.

As a Mainframe Application Manager, you will be responsible for understanding complex applications, data flows, and their business purpose to ensure seamless operation of our IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate mainframe-based applications ensuring stable and uninterrupted operation
  • Provide 2nd line support to resolve incidents and work with agile teams to troubleshoot and monitor systems
  • Support product approvals and execute production activities
  • Prepare reports and documentation required for daily operations
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Practical experience in application management of IT systems in enterprise environments
  • Good knowledge of IBM Mainframe database and system
  • Good knowledge of IBM zOS Mainframe/Unix
  • Basic knowledge of Service Management/ITIL
