Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior General QA Engineer to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the quality of our software products.

  • Develop, execute test plans, test cases, and checklists for web, mobile, and backend applications, guaranteeing seamless functionality across platforms.
  • Perform manual testing to validate feature usability and functionality, identifying and documenting bugs and inconsistencies using a defect tracking system (e.g., Jira).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) to ensure efficient testing workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality coverage throughout development stages.
  • Conduct regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing as part of the release cycle, improving overall quality standards.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, automation pipelines, integrating tests into CI/CD workflows to optimize software development processes.
  • Analyze test results and report quality metrics to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Participate in code reviews, contributing to QA process improvements and ensuring compliance with QA standards and best practices.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of QA theory and practices.
  • Theoretical understanding of Agile methodology and software development principles.
  • Basic knowledge of any programming language (Java, Python, JS, C#, Groovy).
  • Understanding of client-server architecture.
  • Good English skills, upper-intermediate or higher.
  • Flexible analytical and algorithmic thinking, desire for self-development, persistence in finding solutions, and achieving goals.
Nice to Have:

Having experience or knowledge in the following areas is beneficial:

  • Testing frameworks (Selenium WebDriver or Appium).
  • API testing tools (Postman).
  • Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git or SVN).
