Job Description:

This is a challenging role that requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead a team of engineers in delivering projects end-to-end.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and remain calm in urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and grow a team of 4-6 members.
  • Communicate with business users to identify and refine requirements.
  • Design, build, and support technical solutions/platforms.
  • Own delivery roadmap and remove blockers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Provide production support as part of the global team.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in software engineering with leadership experience (8+ years).
  • Strong hands-on skills in modern Java language for back-end development with HTTPS, RESTful API, microservices on Cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in delivering back-end systems with high-availability, high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in urgent/stressing situations.
  • Domain knowledge in banking - trade life cycle and post-trade processing for financial investment products, especially FX is an advantage.
  • Experience in production support is a plus.
