Your career opportunity

As a Senior Software Engineer within HSBC's Global Debt Markets (GDM) IT team, you will play a key role in developing and supporting the Falcon UI platform - an advanced trading and risk application framework built on HTML5 and React. This platform underpins the GDM Trader Desktop and is central to the front-office technology landscape, supporting functions such as risk management, trade booking, electronic trading, and market making.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that enable intraday pricing workflows and risk/hedge sourcing capabilities. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong collaboration with global stakeholders, and a deep understanding of both functional and architectural aspects of trading systems. You will contribute to building low-latency, resilient applications that reduce maintenance overhead and support growing business volumes.
