NIX Tech Kft. is a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services seeking a Junior General QA Engineer to join its office in Budapest.

Job Overview

This role involves working as part of a team of professionals who deliver tailor-made IT solutions to multinational clients in various industries.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of quality assurance (QA) theory and practices, with a theoretical understanding of Agile methodology and software development principles.

A basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JS, C#, or Groovy is required, along with an understanding of client-server architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze requirements and systems
  • Compile and pass checklists
  • Test web services
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts for UI/API
  • Analyze results
  • Create bug reports

To succeed in this role, the candidate should have good English skills, upper-intermediate or higher, and flexible analytical and algorithmic thinking.

Requirements

The following skills and qualifications are essential:

  • General QA knowledge
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JS, C#, or Groovy
  • Understanding of testing frameworks like Selenium WebDriver or Appium
  • Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes
  • Understanding of version control systems like Git or SVN

The ideal candidate will also have experience working on international projects and be willing to participate in mentoring programs and other corporate activities.
