We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to lead the migration of our data visualization solutions from QlikSense to Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and a proven track record of creating insightful dashboards that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Migrate existing dashboards and data models from QlikSense to Power BI, ensuring data consistency and performance.
- Analyze QlikSense data models and create equivalent models in Power BI, maintaining business logic.
- Manage ETL processes to ensure continuity of data pipelines throughout the migration.
- Develop custom reports and visualizations in Power BI based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, adjust migrated dashboards, and provide training on the Power BI environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and performance issues during the migration.
- Document migration processes, data models, and provide user guidelines for the new Power BI dashboards.
- 3+ years of experience with QlikSense and Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and analysis.
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and other Power BI functionalities.
- Experience with scripting and advanced calculations in QlikSense.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, SQL, and ETL processes.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to simplify technical concepts for stakeholders.
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar certification.
- Experience with other BI tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
