About this Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled Operations Support Manager to join our team. This role will focus on ensuring that our service is effectively monitored and that appropriate action is taken when issues arise.

The Operations Support Manager will work closely with our Software Engineering Operations Team, handling day-to-day issues originating from both internal teams and external sources. A key responsibility will be to clearly define business priorities to ensure that the highest-value items are addressed first.

Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role, as you will need to provide clear updates to stakeholders and collaborate with game developers and our store partners to resolve issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of our Support Team, including daily meetings and assigning workload to the SEDOps team based on priorities.
  • Clearly define business priorities for all incoming issues and ensure that SEDOps has all the necessary information to provide high-quality services.
  • Provide clear communication to internal and external stakeholders when issues arise, and follow through to resolution.
  • Work with the Head of Service Operations to establish effective processes and workflows for supporting our service, and conduct regular reviews of these workflows.
  • Support the Delivery Team with testing game updates to ensure Delivery SLAs are met and to gain a deeper understanding of the games and potential issues.
  • Manage and coordinate on-call or out-of-hours schemes as required by SLA commitments.
  • Represent the Operations Support function in relevant meetings and ceremonies, including retrospectives.
