About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer to work with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS and ETL/ELT processes. You will have the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and enhance existing data pipelines using best practices in data operations, including security, reliability, and cost optimization.
  2. Develop and support ETL/ELT processes for analytics and data product needs, leveraging expertise in Python, PySpark, pandas, JSON, and cloud services.
  3. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with DevOps concepts and Agile methodologies.
  4. Implement improvements to CI/CD workflows using CDK, ensuring seamless integration with infrastructure as code.
  5. Monitor data pipelines for high performance using AWS services, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, pandas, and JSON.
  • Strong understanding of ETL and ELT processes, including design and implementation.
  • Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS RDS, Aurora, CloudWatch, SQS, CloudTrail, Lambda, Step Functions, and S3.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, such as GitLab and Bitbucket.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
