Cloud Architect Role

This is a career-defining opportunity for a seasoned Cloud Architect to spearhead our Kubernetes infrastructure. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a cutting-edge cloud architecture that drives business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a scalable Kubernetes platform that supports mission-critical workloads.
  • Design and implement a controller-based model for self-service capabilities, utilizing CRDs and operators to encapsulate complex controls.
  • Leverage Kubernetes Config Connector (KCC) to declaratively orchestrate Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, integrating cloud provisioning into the Kubernetes control plane.
  • Advocate for GitOps principles across the platform, promoting declarative everything and automated everywhere.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and risk teams to integrate enterprise governance directly into the platform, balancing agility with control.

Mentor engineers, shape best practices, and contribute to the development of our internal cloud engineering culture.

Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in Kubernetes, including networking, scheduling, operators, RBAC, controllers, and more.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably on GCP.
  • Familiarity with or strong knowledge of GitOps tooling and practices, such as ArgoCD and Flux.
  • Solid background in infrastructure as code, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Be a strategic thinker and effective communicator, able to navigate complexity and lead technical discussions with engineers, architects, and stakeholders.
