Software Developer for Global Trading Platform

We are seeking a skilled Java Engineer with DevOps to join our team in HSBC Technology Poland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on the development of our global trading platform, collaborating closely with front-office trading and product teams.
About UsHSBC Technology Poland is a technology department providing technology services and solutions for the Investment Bank businesses at HSBC. Our systems enable transactions across multiple asset classes, and we work in partnership with business counterparts to deliver high-throughput systems.
This role will be part of the Securities Financing Technology team, which works together to build innovative sales and trading systems for the Prime Brokerage and Financing businesses.
Job Description- Design and develop scalable and highly available distributed trading platforms
- Work closely with front-office trading and product teams to ensure fast and accurate delivery of new functionality and improvements
- Liaise with local compliance, NFR and other risk/control teams to ensure full compliance with regulatory guidelines and requirements
- Expert-level applied Java experience including the JVM, garbage collection, data structures and non-blocking IO
- Passion for technology, technological solutions, and continuous improvement
- Fluency in written and spoken English and excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of risk, risk management and the role technology plays in this highly regulated environment

This role offers a competitive salary range of 120000-180000 PLN per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
