Cloud Data Engineer Position

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying ETL/SQL pipelines connected to various on-prem and Cloud data sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build Google Cloud data models and transformations in BigQuery environment.
  • Create and manage ETL/ELT data pipelines to model raw/unstructured data into Data Vault universal model.
  • Review and refine business and technical requirements.
  • Deliver non-functional requirements, IT standards, and developer and support tools to ensure applications are secure, compliant, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.
  • Monitor data pipelines for failures or performance issues and implement fixes or improvements as needed.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in SQL and BigQuery.
  • Experience with ETL and ELT pipelines development.
  • Knowledge of Data Vault modeling and usage.
  • Hands-on experience in Cloud Composer/Airflow, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub.
  • Proficiency in Python and Terraform.
  • Git usage for version control and collaboration.
  • CI/CD processes/pipelines designing, creation, maintenance in DevOps tools like Ansible/Jenkins etc.
