Product Manager Job Description

This role focuses on leading multiple strategic products across key markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong vision and leadership skills to drive cross-functional squads and harness cutting-edge AI technologies.

The job involves designing personalized experiences that meet diverse user needs, communicating product vision and technical concepts clearly, mentoring and inspiring team members, and partnering closely with engineering, UX/design, marketing, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning and driving multiple strategic products across key markets.
  • Setting a strategic vision and leading cross-functional squads.
  • Harnessing cutting-edge AI to drive business outcomes.
  • Designing personalized experiences that meet diverse user needs.
  • Communicating product vision and technical concepts clearly.
  • Mentoring and inspiring team members.
  • Partnering closely with engineering, UX/design, marketing, and business stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Product Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • AI-related certifications like the AI Product Manager Nanodegree from Udacity or AI for Product Managers from Product School.
  • 8+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years in Agile development and DevOps.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Telus/Exceedra, Anaplan, and Blue Yonder or equivalent systems.
  • Experience in top consumer goods companies or larger startups focusing on user experience through technology in sales planning, trade management, and retail execution.
  • Ability to focus on user experience and product usability, ensuring intuitive, accessible solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Experience with Design Thinking Methodology and UI development.
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma and Visio.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Continuous learning and applying new advancements in technology and AI.
