We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our fast-paced team working on a medication adherence venture called Validose. This innovative hardware-enabled software product tracks patients' use of medication objectively and seamlessly.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Node.js, backend development, and designing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL. Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM frameworks is also essential. Additionally, proficiency in security and privacy standards, especially in healthcare (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and cloud services (Amazon AWS) and containerization (Docker) is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, document, and visualize architecture of both infrastructure and backend components.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
- E nsure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the backend infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement and maintain best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to meet regulatory standards for medical software.
