Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers, promoting technical excellence and driving delivery of high-quality products.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and operational excellence of our product in your domain, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, design, and architecture.
- Promote a strong engineering culture by identifying, proposing, prioritizing, and implementing engineering initiatives to ensure the long-term maintainability, stability, and scalability of our systems.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and effective communication across departments.
- Own delivery by working with your team and Product Managers to scope new features, prioritize them on your roadmap, and drive their delivery, staying on top of your team's work and coordinating effectively with stakeholders.
- Leadership experience with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and driving technical excellence.
- A strong development background, preferably with expertise in backend, system design, and architecture.
- Product operations and project management skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
