About the Project

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer with expertise in Apache Kafka to join our team working on projects from the logistics industry. The project involves migrating the main IT system to a new, distributed cloud architecture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asynchronous message processing, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous communication patterns. Additionally, they will be proficient in using Git for version control and have experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana Stack and Elastic Stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a reliable, scalable Central Messaging Platform leveraging Apache Kafka, fully aligned with enterprise architecture standards to support the organization's changing requirements.
  • Create and maintain additional features and components for the Kafka-based solution.
  • Contribute to the deployment and management of the cloud infrastructure supporting the Messaging Platform.
  • Establish and maintain resilience and disaster recovery mechanisms.
  • Develop comprehensive monitoring tools and solutions for the Kafka ecosystem.
  • Manage and optimize the Kafka Messaging Platform and its cloud environment to ensure high performance.
  • Resolve complex incidents and technical issues to maintain system stability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure best practices and smooth platform integration.
  • Delve and maintain detailed documentation and support tools for operational teams.
