Secure Development Optimization Engineer

This role plays a key part in the secure development optimization team, working within an agile DevSecOps software delivery environment.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Secure Development Optimization Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in DevOps Engineering, building CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, and producing integration design artefacts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver implementation patterns that optimize the integration between DevOps Engineering Platforms and Cyber tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to understand problem areas and define pattern requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering stakeholders from various business areas, including Cybersecurity, to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for implementation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in DevOps Engineering – building CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
  • Experience in producing integration design artefacts.
  • Experience with integration with APIs of operations or Cyber tooling (e.g. code scanning, Hashicorp Vault, Venafi).
  • Experience in developing Infrastructure as Code.
  • Sysadmin experience of Cyber or DevOps tooling.
  • Experience in Cloud Engineering.
  • Development experience in one or more of Java, Python etc
  • Good knowledge of general infrastructure – networking, operating systems etc.
  • Good understanding of DevSecOps and how it maps into the Software Development Lifecycle.
