About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Engineer to join our team at HSBC Technology Poland.

This is a unique opportunity to work on innovative DAC technology solutions and services within Markets and Securities Services, leveraging your expertise in cloud computing, Java, Spring Framework, RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and blockchain technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, deploy, automate, maintain and manage production system (Cloud/ non-Cloud) and non-production systems (Cloud / non-Cloud), ensuring availability, performance, scalability, and security of the same.
  • Interact with infrastructure, change management, QA, DBA, and application teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Work independently on technical analysis, development, and DevOps activities, applying your skills in evaluating existing applications, platforms, and recommending improvements.
  • Evaluate existing applications, platforms, and provides recommendations for improving performance by conducting gap analysis, identifying feasible alternative solutions, and assisting in the scope of modifications.
  • Suggest architecture improvements and recommend process improvements.
  • Be the first to try new technologies and be able to quickly produce proof of concept.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Java, Spring Framework, RDBMS, NoSQL database experience.
  • Cloud experience, preferably GCP.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles, tooling, and practices (Jenkins, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with blockchain and DLT technologies.
  • Proven experience of working with production live service.
  • Self-motivated and highly professional with ability to lead and take ownership, responsibility to meet aggressive deadlines.
