Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Control Specialist to join our team at HSBC Technology Poland. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Engineering and Operations department, you will be responsible for providing first-line defense against all matters relating to Network Security controls.
Responsibilities
- Implement and drive Network Security controls to protect the organization's critical data.
- Drive the accuracy and alignment of Network Security control frameworks with the bank's Risk Control framework.
- Provide strategic direction on Control Design and Continuous Control Monitoring, including MPs/OIs enhancements and Control effectiveness rationale.
- Manage, report, and improve performance metrics (KCIs).
- Ensure Network Security controls align with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Oversee internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points.
- Foster collaboration across Control Owners in Global Defense, understanding the implications of changes in one control area on others.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders about Network Security control strategy.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of technology, preferably in the Network Security area, or willingness to build up knowledge quickly.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders, including business units and audit/regulatory bodies.
- Educational background in IT or relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Testing, Security, iOS, Android, Automated testing, and TCP/IP.
