Role Overview

As a Quantitative Risk Specialist, you will engage in a variety of tasks that are crucial for the integrity of our model risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Validation: Conduct thorough and independent assessments of existing models.
  • Model Assessment: Identify potential weaknesses in models and evaluate the validity of key assumptions that impact model performance.
  • Innovation Contribution: Actively participate in advancing the field of model risk through innovative practices.
  • Model Enhancement: Suggest improvements to existing models and develop challenger models to ensure robustness.
  • Data Analysis: Work with large datasets and utilize programming languages such as SAS, R, SQL, and Python.
  • Reporting: Create comprehensive validation reports that effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Strong mathematical reasoning and the ability to apply quantitative models to practical scenarios.
  • Experience in model development or validation, with a solid understanding of various modeling techniques and their respective advantages and limitations.
  • Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python) and database management (SQL) is preferred.
  • Creativity, interpersonal skills, and a professional demeanor.
