About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Tax and Compliance Manager to join our global team at Object First. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing our global tax strategy, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and mitigating tax risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company's global tax strategy to ensure efficiency and compliance with applicable tax laws.
  • Prepare, review, and file accurate tax returns (corporate, VAT/GST, payroll, etc.) within stipulated deadlines.
  • Collaborate with local tax consultants and service providers to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify tax risks and opportunities, advising management on strategies to optimize tax liability.
  • Manage tax audits and liaise with tax authorities to address inquiries and resolve disputes.
  • Stay updated on tax legislation changes and evaluate their implications on the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tax management, compliance, or a similar role, ideally in a multinational or consulting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tax compliance software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
