About the Opportunity

This senior database position involves designing and developing SQL databases, data models, and ETL processes to support business-critical applications within the finance/stock exchange industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize and manage complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions
  • Design and maintain robust data models, schemas, and indexing strategies
  • Implement and manage large-scale ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Ensure high-performance, integrity, and security of databases
  • Collaborate with BI, analytics, and data engineering teams to drive business success

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL programming, database management, and experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and performance tuning.

Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of experience as a senior database developer
  • Expertise in SQL programming and database management
  • Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and performance optimization
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
  • Good command of English and effective communication skills
  • Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Google BigQuery, Snowflake)
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and big data technologies
