Job Title: Highly Skilled Database Expert

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and proactive Senior Database Administrator with a strong focus on PostgreSQL and MySQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and ensuring the high availability and security of our database environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize database performance, ensure high availability, and implement robust security measures.
  • Implement and manage database backups, restores, and recovery strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Design, implement, and manage database infrastructure using Terraform and automate provisioning and management of database servers, storage, and related resources.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL, including database design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and other configuration management tools.
  • Experience with load balancing solutions, DNS configurations, and automated failover mechanisms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
