Backend Engineer Opportunities

We're looking for hands-on, growth-oriented engineers to strengthen our Technical Cluster. This team builds, transforms and maintains the core services, shared libraries and internal platforms that keep every product cluster moving fast and safely.

You'll work alongside senior engineers, engineering managers and tech-PMs to design robust architectures, evolve our infrastructure and ensure engineering fundamentals stay rock-solid as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning features end-to-end — from requirement gathering to production roll-out and post-mortem analysis.
  • Designing and shipping production systems that serve thousands of users.
  • Collaborating with other senior engineers to shape architecture: breaking monoliths into well-bounded modules, improving scalability and performance, and controlling technical debt.
  • Raising code quality and reliability through thoughtful design reviews and well-reasoned refactoring.
  • Driving foundational improvements (observability, continuous integration and delivery, testing frameworks, security hardening) that make every team faster.
Requirements:
  • 5–8 years of professional backend development experience.
  • Solid understanding of distributed system fundamentals: data modelling, caching, queues, monitoring, and failure scenarios.
  • Clear communication skills: explaining trade-offs, listening to feedback, and building consensus.
  • Passion for clean, readable code and a pragmatic approach to technical excellence.
  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails 7+.
