Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Distributed Storage Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end telemetry solutions across various storage platforms and microservices architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement distributed monitoring systems using OpenTelemetry and other relevant tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate observability with existing infrastructure and applications
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for telemetry best practices
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in IT with strong expertise in distributed systems and telemetry
  • Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, including tracing, metrics, and logging
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js, or Golang
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug instrumentation and performance issues
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience contributing to open-source telemetry frameworks
  • Background in infrastructure observability for Dell/EMC, NetApp, or Pure platforms
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for telemetry systems
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards related to telemetry data
