Strategic Business Growth Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Eastern Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and project portfolio management.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for providing assistance to partners in innovation projects development, feasibility studies, management, and evaluation tasks. They will also service sales for current partners and acquire new ones to join our network.
In this role, you will work with an international team of business developers across Europe and report directly to the South and East Regional Director. You will collaborate and interact with all partners in the Eastern European countries and beyond, other regions, and staff at Headquarters.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new partners
- Evaluate progress of running innovation upscaling projects and support projects' lifecycle management
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of matchmaking and networking events
Requirements:
- At least an MSc or equivalent academic degree preferably related to the raw and advanced materials' value chain
- Good knowledge of the Polish ecosystem in the Mining, Steel, Automotive, or Recycling sector
- Solid experience in sales, business development, and project portfolio management
- Familiarity with EU or national funding programs is a plus
- Fluency in written and spoken English, other language skills are seen as an asset
About the Role:
This is a challenging position in the largest consortium in the European raw materials sector spanning 22 EU countries. You will work on innovative ideas and breakthrough projects within an international environment. Regular traveling to different locations and partners across Europe is required.
