Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned cloud infrastructure specialist to join our team. As a senior DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying scalable and secure cloud (AWS or Azure) and on-premises infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing scripts for automating infrastructure configuration and deployment using various tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CodePipeline.
  • Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment of applications and services.
  • Building and maintaining monitoring and logging systems to provide real-time visibility into system performance and security.
  • Ensuring the security and protection of systems and data by implementing robust access controls, encryption, and threat detection mechanisms.
  • Designing and implementing disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of a disaster.
  • Deploying updates and patches to maintain the integrity and reliability of systems and applications.

You will also be providing technical guidance and support to developers and other IT professionals, as well as ensuring high availability, scalability, and resilience to infrastructure and service failures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux, Unix, Windows, and DevOps principles, as well as experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration.

Additional responsibilities include staying up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and best practices, supporting team infrastructure, resolving configuration, infrastructure, and automation issues in various environments.

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, Unix, Windows, and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline).
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code principles.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Bash).
  • Knowledge of networking, cloud security, and operating system management principles.
