Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Photon Energy Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing Azure servers based on Microsoft Windows for the Aveva SCADA system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage Azure servers based on Microsoft Windows for the Aveva SCADA system.
  • Monitor and support a server farm consisting of around 30 servers in a 3-tier architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server performance, networking, and application errors.
  • Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform routine system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Handle database querying and management tasks, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with the SCADA system team to ensure seamless data retrieval and processing from Photovoltaic Power Plants.
  • Document and update operational procedures and system configurations.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Provide second-level support and assist in the training of first-level support staff.
