About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing real-time crypto transaction monitoring frameworks, integrating risk-based alerts for money laundering, fraud, and illicit finance. You will also be tasked with overseeing suspicious activity reporting (SAR/STR) processes for crypto transactions and assessing the risks associated with DeFi protocols, smart contracts, and decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance real-time crypto transaction monitoring frameworks, integrating risk-based alerts for money laundering, fraud, and illicit finance.
  • Oversee suspicious activity reporting (SAR/STR) processes for crypto transactions.
  • Assess the risks associated with DeFi protocols, smart contracts, and decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
  • Enforce the FATF Travel Rule, ensuring compliant data-sharing for crypto transactions between exchanges and counterparties.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years in crypto compliance, AML, or regulatory affairs.
  • Proven knowledge of FATF Travel Rule, SEC/CFTC crypto regulations, and AMLD frameworks.
  • Experience with blockchain forensic tools (Chainalysis, Crystal, Elliptic), AML software, and crypto wallet risk scoring.
