About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our team at Vertice technology CZ s.r.o. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that drive business value from our data.

You will work closely with product managers and other engineers to identify opportunities for applying AI/ML techniques to solve complex problems. Your expertise in large-scale text processing, NLP, and LLMs will be crucial in building solutions that unlock new insights and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop machine learning models that drive business value from our data
  • Work closely with product managers and other engineers to identify opportunities for applying AI/ML techniques
  • Develop and deploy large-scale text processing, NLP, and LLM solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and make a significant impact

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, including popular libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, HuggingFace, etc.
  • Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code in Python
  • Understanding of neural networks, deep learning, fine-tuning, and their applications
  • Experience with implementing end-to-end machine learning solutions, with a focus on data quality and cleanliness
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications in natural language processing
  • Experience working with document-based data (e.g., PDFs) and ability to design and implement solutions for text-based problems
  • Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (for deploying models, data processing, etc.) is a plus
