Backend Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance backend applications in the digital advertising space.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience with Node.js, NestJS, and MongoDB, and will be able to develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex backend systems using Node.js and NestJS.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, performant, and reliable solutions.
  • Actively contribute to R&D initiatives, exploring new approaches and solutions to enhance the advertising ecosystem.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering and design, through implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years with Node.js.
  • Strong skills in Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks such as NestJS and Fastify.
  • Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and AWS S3.
  • Solid understanding of event-driven development, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Strong background in performance optimization, monitoring, and scalable application design.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, and tools like Babel.
  • Ability to decompose complex tasks into actionable pieces and work independently.
  • Proactive attitude and strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • English proficiency sufficient for reading and writing technical documentation.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in digital advertising / programmatic advertising.
  • Familiarity with React.js and NoSQL databases.
  • Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments and writing bash scripts.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress) and writing unit, functional, and integration tests.
