Role Overview

The SAP Release Manager is responsible for coordinating all minor and major SAP releases with respective stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate release planning, create cut-over plans, and communicate release dates to relevant teams;
  • Ensure technical implementation of reported topics within communicated deadlines in line with planned release content;
  • Prepare regular reporting on IT requirements and changes received and implemented;
  • Develop and implement measures to optimize release processes and methods;
  • Support IT departments in using SAP Solution Manager 7.2 (especially ChaRM) in R/3 and S/4 environments.
Requirements

Required skills and qualifications include knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP R3, as well as experience in SAP release and deployment management.
