Financial Management Specialist for International Standards

At ALDI Tech Hub, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to oversee the entire accounting function and ensure compliance with local and international standards.
About the Role- This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to take on a leadership role and drive process improvements within our team.
We require a strong expert in accounting and taxes, along with exceptional organizational and communication skills, to excel in this position.
Main Responsibilities- Reconcile accounts monthly to guarantee accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and financial regulations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Approve and make recurring and non-recurring journal entries, such as inventory, intercompany, fixed assets, accruals, impairments, write-offs, taxes.
- Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy.
- Offer guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
- Assist during internal and external financial and tax audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Participate in reporting statistical data to external institutions.
- Assist in preparation of VAT, Intrastat, and other Tax Related reports.
- Proactively suggest recommendations and ideas to deliver continuous process improvement.
- Participate in the implementation and upkeep of ERP system.
- Automation of the accounting process (including banks, interest).
- Perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses.
- Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.
- Preparation of payment statements: accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
- Accounting expertise with knowledge of audit principles and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, including SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
