Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the development of our Big Data systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills in Python or Java/Scala, experience in designing and implementing data governance and management processes, and familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Cloudera, Airflow, NiFi, Docker, Kubernetes, Iceberg, Trino, or Hudi.

The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of technology experts on challenging projects across various industries, leveraging cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing scalable data management architectures, infrastructure, and platform solutions for streaming and batch processing using Big Data technologies.
  • Designing and implementing data management and governance processes and best practices.
  • Contributing to the development of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) processes.
  • Developing applications to aggregate, process, and analyze data from diverse sources.
  • Collaborating with the Data Science team on data analysis and Machine Learning projects, including text/image analysis and predictive model building.
  • Developing and organizing data transformations using DBT and Apache Airflow.
  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions and ensuring optimal performance and quality.

Requirements include expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, AWS, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, Iceberg, NiFi, Java, Scala, Kafka, Trino, and Hudi, as well as experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Wiki, GitHub, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be fluent in English (C1 level) and possess a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
