Senior Data Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. This is a hands-on role that will augment analytics engineering capacity, working alongside permanent team members to maintain and enhance business-critical data products and reporting solutions.

This role involves designing, building, and maintaining data models using SQL and dbt to support reporting and analytics needs. You will develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and self-service reports in Domo (experience in Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is also acceptable).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Modeling: Design, build, and maintain data models using SQL and dbt to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Dashboard Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and self-service reports in Domo.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Analytics Engineers and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Analytics Asset Delivery: Support the delivery of high-quality, documented, and tested analytics assets in our modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Domo).
  • Team Contribution: Contribute to team sprints and agile ceremonies where applicable.
  • Ad-Hoc Data Analysis: Assist with ad-hoc data analysis and troubleshooting to support key business initiatives.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Proficiency in SQL: Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, transformation, and modeling.
  • dbt Experience: Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool) to develop modular and maintainable data models.
  • BI/Visualization Tools: Expertise in one or more BI/data visualization tools: Domo, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Statistics and Analytical Methods: A solid understanding of statistics and applied analytical methods.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional, collaborative environments — ideally with geographically distributed teams.
  • Agile Ways of Working: Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality work independently.
  • Modern Data Stack: Experience working with modern data stack (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, cloud platforms).
  • CRM/Transactional Data: Experience working with CRM, transactional data.
