Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join our client as a dedicated AR Specialist, supporting their Czech and Slovak markets. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow up on overdue payments with customers via phone or email.
  • Update account statuses, manage fund transfers, and document changes accurately.
  • Monitor received payments and provide necessary documents to customers in a timely manner.
  • Identify and resolve issues causing payment delays, escalating when needed.
  • Handle requests for credit notes and process refunds for overpayments efficiently.
  • Clear and manage cash accounts as required.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts related to collections.
  • Ensure all processes comply with regulatory standards, such as SOX.
  • Support and suggest improvements to existing processes.
Requirements
  • Degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, and Credit and Collections Management Software.
  • At least 1 year of credit/collections or customer service experience in corporate, high-volume environments.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis and risk management.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in Slovak/Czech and very good in English.
