Backend QA Engineer

4+ years of experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer, preferably in backend or API testing. Strong hands-on experience testing .NET backend code and services.  2+ years of experience in API testing and validation.  Proficiency in SQL, including writing and executing complex queries and testing stored procedures will be beneficial. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating tests into automated workflows (e.g., using Jenkins or Azure DevOps).  Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including: SOLID principles Test-Driven Development (TDD) Integration and contract testing Data validation and test data management Experience with analyzing logs and debugging backend issues. Preferred Qualifications Experience with performance and load testing for APIs (e.g., JMeter, k6). Knowledge of microservices architectures and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) will be beneficial. Understanding of security testing for backend services.
