English communication skills (preferably Intermediate+) 3+ years of experience testing websites and APIs Strong API testing skills — request/response validation, chaining requests, andexperience with tools like Postman or Swagger Experience testing backend systems, especially Python-based applications Basic SQL/NoSQL querying skills and ability to perform log analysis Experience with end-to-end testing of multi-module dependencies in distributedsystems Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) Knowledge of website performance testing and optimization techniques Familiarity with security best practices in web applications Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectivelywithin a team Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools is a plus Experience using Gherkin is a must Technical background (e.g., prior development, scripting, or system integrationexperience) is highly desirable. Work schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, 16:00-24:00 We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with an analytical mindset and, ideally, a technical background. This role focuses on ensuring the quality of backend systems, API integrations, and front-end solutions. While the primary focus will be on manual testing, there is an opportunity to explore and implement test automation where applicable. Responsibilities: Perform manual testing for web systems, backend services, and API integrations Develop and execute detailed test cases in Gherkin syntax Identify, document, and track bug reports Collaborate closely with developers and project managers Test and validate API endpoints — including request/response validation, chainingrequests, and verifying data flows Perform end-to-end workflow testing across multiple modules, validatingdependencies Conduct data validation through basic SQL/NoSQL queries and log analysis toconfirm data accuracy Test across modules implemented in different technology stacks Use analytics tools to monitor application performance and user behavior Contribute to QA strategy improvements, optimizing testing methodologies andprocesses Stay up to date with industry best practices.
