MSc in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance/Economics/Marketing, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in data-related roles. Practical experience in at least one, preferably two, of the following areas: machine learning, generative AI, forecasting, or mathematical optimization. Proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience in using a version control system. Familiarity with generative AI, e.g. understanding of the technology, its strengths and weaknesses, application areas, prompt engineering, context engineering. Ability to write production grade code using object-oriented programming paradigm. Experience scaling products from initial concept to production. Solid experience with data science frameworks such Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Spark. Experience with cloud computing platforms, specifically Azure or AWS. Solid experience in data analysis, debugging, experiment design, and evaluation. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Interpersonal and communication skills, active listening, consulting, challenging, presentation skills. Ability to work independently on advanced analytics IT products. Ability to propose methodologies of solving complex data science problems. Fluent in English, both written & spoken. Nice to have: Experience with generative AI models and applications. Experience with AI solutions such as Vector Stores, Apache Spark, PyTorch, LangChain, LangGraph, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Familiarity with Databricks.
