Senior Linux System Administrator

Required Experience and Skills 7+ years of professional experience administering Linux systems in production environments. Strong background in Linux system configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting (AlmaLinux or RHEL preferred). Experience managing infrastructure in at least one major cloud environment (AWS, Oracle, or GCP). Practical experience operating and troubleshooting Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with network administration (VPN, DNS, firewalls, routing). Experience with Apache, PostgreSQL, and Postfix. Competence in scripting and automation (Bash essential; Ansible or similar a plus). Solid understanding of system security, backups, and recovery procedures. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative setting. Fluent English (spoken and written). Preferred Qualifications Experience with hybrid infrastructure (physical servers + cloud + containers). Exposure to ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials Plus certified environments. Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. Understanding of identity and access integration (Active Directory, SSO).
