Business Systems Engineer III

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. 4+ years of hands-on experience with Blackline, specifically configuring, customizing, and integrating Blackline’s reconciliation modules. Advanced knowledge of Blackline modules, including Account Reconciliations, Automated Journals, Task Management, and Transaction Matching. Proficiency in scripting, SQL, and working with APIs to automate financial workflows and enhance system functionality. Experience working in an Agile environment and proficiency with tools like Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration is preferred. Experience with ETL platforms like Informatica or Talend and proficiency in scripting languages like Python or JavaScript is a plus. Expertise in managing and optimizing ERP integrations with Blackline, specifically NetSuite, Kyriba, Planful, etc. Ability to troubleshoot system bugs, resolve performance issues, and work with Blackline support as needed. Ability to automate financial workflows and streamline integrations to meet financial close deadlines, maintain data integrity, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards." Solid understanding of general ledger accounting processes and how financial reconciliations flow into month-end close activities. Ability to communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, and IT. In this role, you will be critical in optimizing and automating our financial processes by leveraging your expertise in Blackline configuration, automation, and ERP integrations.
