We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Scientific Python Library Engineer to lead the development, maintenance, and Computer System Validation (CSV) efforts for our core library of scientific algorithms. This library is critical for the analysis of audio, Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), and touchscreen data used in our research and product development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, scientific computing, software quality assurance, and working within a regulated or high-quality standards environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, medical device) . ,[The Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the scientific library, ensuring it meets strict quality, performance, and regulatory standards., Design and implement high-performance, maintainable, and well-documented scientific algorithms in Python, focusing on signal processing and time-series analysis for audio, IMU, and touchscreen data., Optimize existing code for computational efficiency, particularly utilizing libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas, Manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, release management, and version control., Maintain comprehensive documentation for both internal developers and end-users., Lead and execute Computer System Validation (CSV) protocols, including the development of Validation Plans, User Requirement Specifications (URS), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and Traceability Matrices., Design and implement robust automated testing frameworks to ensure algorithmic accuracy, reliability, and reproducibility across different platforms and environments., Generate and maintain validation evidence demonstrating that the library consistently meets its intended use in accordance with internal Quality Management Systems (QMS) and applicable external regulations (e.g., GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11)., Conduct regular code reviews to enforce coding standards, identify potential security risks, and ensure adherence to best practices.] Requirements: Python Additionally: Sport subscription, Private healthcare, International projects.
